The boundary-pushing pop innovator Charli XCX was undoubtedly the star of the night, clinching Mastercard Album of the Year for Brat, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for her collaboration with Billie Eilish on Guess, Best Dance Act, and Songwriter of the Year. Her album Brat—a genre-defying blend of electronic and experimental pop—has dominated charts and reshaped the industry, making her the undisputed queen of this year’s BRITs.
Jazz collective Ezra Collective made history by winning Group of the Year, marking the first time a jazz act has claimed the title. Rising indie sensation The Last Dinner Party took home Best New Artist, while Chappell Roan’s global impact earned her the International Artist of the Year honor.
Grime heavyweight Stormzy added another BRIT to his collection by securing the Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, reaffirming his dominance in UK rap. Meanwhile, Sam Fender won Alternative/Rock Act, further solidifying his reputation as one of Britain’s leading rock voices.
Beyond the UK’s best, the BRITs honored international talent, with Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. winning International Group of the Year and Chappell Roan’s Good Luck, Babe! taking International Song of the Year.
