Fivio Foreign Locked Up on Shaky Charges, Attorney Calls Case ‘Weakest Ever’

Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign has quietly spent the last few months behind bars in New Jersey, fighting charges his lawyer boldly describes as “the weakest case” he’s witnessed in over two decades. The drill star, real name Maxie Ryles III, is currently jailed in Edgewater, NJ, facing serious allegations, including unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats stemming from a controversial incident on New Year’s Day.

According to police documents obtained by TMZ, a woman claims she approached Fivio, simply asking for assistance to jumpstart her vehicle. Instead of receiving help, the woman alleges that the “Big Drip” artist aggressively brandished a gun, threateningly warning her, “If I see you parked in front of this building again, there is going to be a fucking problem.”

Edgewater police assert that surveillance footage from the apartment complex aligns with the woman’s account. Multiple eyewitnesses reportedly recognized the distinctive Brooklyn native immediately, subsequently calling 911 and providing statements to officers, amplifying the already intense situation.

However, Fivio’s long-time attorney, Adam Lustberg, emphatically counters the charges, declaring no firearm was ever recovered from his client. Lustberg confidently states that this legal ordeal, swirling around the prominent drill figure, is built on shockingly thin evidence and calls into question the validity of the allegations entirely. Having represented numerous high-profile cases in his 21-year career, Lustberg’s vehement dismissal of these charges resonates loudly.

Despite the legal cloud looming over him, Fivio Foreign’s musical journey hasn’t hit pause. His latest collaboration with rising artist Caldwell recently dropped. However, the absence of Fivio from the promotional push spotlights the harsh reality of his ongoing confinement.

With the case set to unfold in the coming weeks, Lustberg anticipates a favorable outcome, confident that Fivio will return to reclaim his space at the forefront of hip-hop. Until then, the streets continue to speculate as a once soaring career faces an abrupt halt.
