Jon B. Announces New Album Waiting On You & Nationwide Tour for 30th Anniversary in Music

R&B icon Jon B. is returning with his long-awaited eighth studio album, Waiting On You, set to drop on March 21, 2025. The blue-eyed soul crooner is dropping the full-length project after over a decade since 2012’s Comfortable Swagg.

Initially slated for a 2024 release, Waiting On You has been in the works for some time. The album is led by the title track, “Waiting On You,” featuring fellow R&B veteran Tank, a collaboration that perfectly blends their smooth, heartstring-pulling vocals. Also included is “Natural Drug,” a single Jon B. released earlier this year, setting the tone for the album’s soulful, passionate vibe.

Other featured artists on Waiting On You include veteran rapper Rick Ross, R&B legend Donell Jones, and songstress Alex Isley. With such a diverse range of guests, the album is set to showcase Grammy-nominated artist’s timeless artistry while embracing the modern R&B landscape.

This new chapter in Jon B.’s career coincides with an incredible milestone: his 30th anniversary in the music industry.
