South Korean genre-bending singer-songwriter Yves, known for her trailblazing solo path post-LOONA, reveals the diverse new project, DIM ∞, a 5-track release of dynamic variations of her viral hit “DIM.” The project features productions that stretch the original into new sonic territories, including a Nostalgic Edit, Slowed, Sped Up, and Fade versions.
The original version of “DIM” appeared on Yves’ I DID: Bloom (Deluxe) EP. With 4.9 million streams, the track’s rise has been powered by a TikTok explosion, where its official sound has racked up 5.5 billion views and 1.9 million user creations. The sound has been tapped by everyone from Benny Blanco to Jojo Siwa and major brands like WWE and the Champions League.
“DIM” currently sits #1 on the U.S. TikTok Viral chart, #9 on the platform’s Top 50, and tops the Global Top 200 K-Pop Shazam chart. Additionally, Yves 2024 EPs LOOP and I DID both earned spots on Billboard’s “Best K-Pop Albums of 2024” lists.
Following the European and U.S. legs of her Apple Cinnamon Crunch Tour, Yves has launched into the Latin American stretch, kicking off in CDMX, Mexico on April 1. The tour continues through Argentina, Chile, Peru, and wraps in Brazil on April 11.
