Kameron Corvet is on a mission. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actor recently released his latest single, “I Will,” and it’s a whole vibe.
Released on April 4th, “I Will” is a statement of resilience and self-love. Written, composed, and co-produced by Kameron, with production support from the talented Pierre Medor, the record carries a heartfelt message about moving forward after heartbreak. The arrangement is built around stirring melodies and authentic lyrics that hit straight to the soul.
“Authenticity doesn’t exist without vulnerability,” Kameron shares. “As men, especially Black men, we’re brought up to hold everything in. We’re often taught to suppress our emotions and carry our pain in silence. I wrote ‘I Will’ after the end of a long-term relationship, not as a lament, but as an affirmation of growth.”
Corvet’s vocal performance, especially his signature falsetto, feels intimate and elevating. He taps into a beautiful balance of vulnerability and strength, making “I Will” resonate with anyone who’s faced emotional struggles but still chose to rise.
Corvet is no stranger to creating mesmerizing music. His pen game and guitar work have kept him moving across genres, blending soul, hip-hop, pop, and reggae. His credits stretch deep, with work alongside legends like Sting, Shaggy, Toni Braxton, Angie Stone, Keith Sweat, and more.
Beyond this single, Kameron is featured on the upcoming Wu-Tang Clan special project Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman, which features all nine Wu members plus heavy hitters like Kool G Rap, Nicole Bus, and Benny the Butcher. His previous release, “You With Me,” landed on STARZ’s hit series BMF.
Corvet’s talents extend to acting, too. He portrayed Aretha Franklin’s guitarist in Nat Geo’s Genius: Aretha and continues to carry his family’s musical legacy as a fourth-generation artist.
