Initially, Beyoncé planned to announce the tour on January 14, 2025, but postponed it due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
This tour announcement comes on the heels of her groundbreaking album, Cowboy Carter, which dropped in March 2024. On the offering, Beyoncé didn’t just dip her toes into country; she redefined the genre. The album’s lead single, “Texas Hold ’Em,” not only topped the Billboard Hot 100 but also made her the first Black woman to have a No. 1 country song.
And let’s talk Grammys. Beyoncé leads the pack with 11 nominations, including top awards like Album of the Year and Song of the Year. This brings her career total nods to a record-breaking 99, making her the most-nominated artist in Grammy history.
Beyond the statistical accomplishments, ‘Cowboy Carter’ is a soulful journey through America’s musical soundscape.
