Grammy-winning R&B/Soul legend John Legend is returning to stages around the globe with his highly anticipated “Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour.” The announcement comes on the heels of his groundbreaking debut album, Get Lifted, which celebrated two decades in music.
“I’m so excited to announce that I’m heading back on the road for the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour,” Legend shared on social media. “Join me and my band for an unforgettable performance of the entire Get Lifted album, the album that introduced me to the world, plus a few favorites from my career that all of you know and love. Let’s celebrate 20 amazing years of Get Lifted together!”
Originally released in 2004, Get Lifted resonated with listeners through soulful, rhythmic melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Tracks like “Ordinary People,” “Used to Love U,” and “So High” became classic anthems, earning Legend three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best R&B Album.
The Get “Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour” kicks off on May 27, 2025, at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Subsequent dates include stops at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena (May 29), Birmingham’s Utilita Arena (May 30), and London’s O2 Arena (June 1). Additional European dates include concerts in Amsterdam, Paris, Munich, and more.
The trek will then transition stateside, with the North American leg beginning on August 23, 2025, at Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois. The tour spans across 20 cities, including New York’s Barclays Center, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, Atlanta’s Chastain Park, and Toronto’s Fallsview Casino.
North American fans can access presale tickets beginning March 26, with general sales starting March 28, available through Ticketmaster, AXS, and Legend’s official website.
Coinciding with the tour, John Legend has unveiled a deluxe 20th Anniversary Edition of Get Lifted, enhanced with eight new remixes, rare B-sides, and two previously unreleased tracks featuring collaborations with artists like Lil Wayne, Killer Mike, and rising star Tems.
