Lil Mama Puts In ‘Work’ On Rihanna & Drake’s Single, Gets Slammed By Social Media

After dropping off videos for “Panda (Remix)” and ?Memes,? Lil Mama is the newest artist to remix Rihanna’s and Drake’s “Work” video. In the short clip, she takes on the dancehall track with verse of bars, then begins a (questionable) singing break. The rest of the song/video plays out to the original song as Lil Mama and her dancers slow-wind it out.

Sans the singing part, it’s not bad (imo), but many social media onlookers felt otherwise.

@noLove_moreLOUD wrote, “Lil Mama remixed Work… its called unemployed.”

@BluAmythest wrote, “OK I kinda feel bad for Lil Mama, she ain’t been right since she ran up on stage that one time.”
@YourFavoriteZoe wrote, “The black community would trade Lil Mama and Lil Bow Wow for Bubba Sparxxx.”
Ouch. What do you think of Lil Mama’s “Work” Remix, Roomies?
