Young Thug has decided to release new music after his musical silence. ‘Hear No Evil’ is the title of his new three-song EP. He has huge features for each single, “Anybody” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Up” featuring “Lil Uzi,” and “Now” featuring 21 Savage.
Young Thug actually took a musical silence to honor his brother who is deaf. Even though he still released this new music, he pays tribute to his brother in the song “Anybody.” This song’s visual is not as common as we’re used to. Instead of the spotlight shining on Nicki Minaj and Young Thug, the video’s two stars are a young woman and young man translating the song into sign language. Definitely a game changer and an honor.

Kiara Simone is fiery and bold in the new visual to ‘Trick!’ The all-in-your-face ladies anthem is untraditional, powerful and true to game. Simone is promoting women’s empowerment in a male-dominated industry – her way!
The LA native spits fire like Kodak Black and expels raw confidence like Kash Doll. Simone’s gritty delivery, honest lyrics and inspirational story of rising from immense pain and struggle to follow her dreams, allows her story to rise above the rest.
“Nothing is fake about my music,” said Kiara. “I don’t make it up: what you hear in my music is ME. I’ve been through a lot and no one from where I’m from has made it this far. If I can do it, you can do it too.” She continued: “My music is about empowering women to be strong-minded and make them feel like they can achieve anything on their own, without being so dependent on men,” stated the rising star.
Kiara first tapped into her musical talents at age 14 when she spit a verse by Lil’ Mama from her song “Shawty Get Loose” as her phone’s voice message recording. With the approval of her older sister Shawnta, Kiara started writing her own rhymes and practicing her craft. In a tragic turn of events, her beloved sister was shot and killed in PG County (a suburb of Maryland), leaving Kiara heartbroken. Her life changed forever and two years later, after trying to cope without her sister being around, she reached a breaking point where she wanted to completely give up on everything.
“When I’m not where I want to be, I feel pointless,” she said. “All I had was music. I wanted to give up, but I couldn’t. When you want something that bad, you’re going to do whatever it takes to get it. I had to do it for my family to help change their situation, and I knew I was the way out,” she explained.
Between her soaring streaming numbers from the new project ‘XIV’ and the smarts of a Wall Street banker, we bet Kiara Simone makes your man ‘trick!’
Montreal natives, Chromeo releases a video for their third single “Must’ve Been,” featuring multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated artist DRAM and guitarist Jesse Johnson (Prince, The Time). The Funk duo, comprised of Dave 1 and P-Thugg are seen tracing their decades-spanning friendship in the clip, directed by Dugan O’Neal.
P-Thugg wakes Dave 1 from a deep sleep, initiating each adventure to follow, from Dave 1 hiding from a crazed girlfriend to a flashback of their teenage years smoking in the basement with friends, with an appearance by DRAM. As young children, the duo ends up running from a rec center with a set of keys to an officer’s vehicle and driving away. The explanation for all the madness is questionable. As Chromeo describes it, they must have been out of their mind and high.
“Must’ve Been” is Chromeo’s latest track from their much-anticipated album titled Head Over Heels, which is set to drop on June 15 on Big Beat/Atlantic Records. It features guest vocals from The-Dream, Stefflon Don, French Montana, and Amber Mark as well as contributions from Raphael Saadiq, Rodney Jerkins, Pino Palladino, and Onyx Collective.
Chromeo kicked off the first leg of their tour this week with sold-out West Coast North American shows including Coachella, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, Portland, and San Diego. Their upcoming shows include appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Osheaga, and Primavera Sound. For tickets visit chromeo.net.

With the release of her debut album hitting shelves and all digital streaming platforms this week on April 6th, Bronx femcee Cardi B delivers the visuals to her chart-topping single “Bartier Cardi” featuring rapper 21 Savage.
The release comes shortly after the surprise release of “Be Careful,” the first track off of Cardi’s debut album, Invasion Of Privacy.
In the Petra Collins directed clip, Cardi plays the pin-up girl of your dreams in full vintage gear, rocking furs and diamonds. As she recites the hits most popular line, “Your bitch wanna party with Cardi,” the 2x GRAMMY-nominated rapper is being watched on a hazy television screen by a line of well-oiled men.
21 delivers is verse while tied to a chair by women sporting afros and jewel-encrusted pieces.
Hubby Offset makes a lustful appearance as the two tussle with affection in the back seat of a moving car.
Cardi B will be making her Saturday Night Live debut during the Chadwick Boseman-hosted episode as the show’s musical guest.
On March 23rd, Trouble brought the heat with the release of his album, ‘Edgewood Based On A True Story.’ The social media frenzy busted out in support of Trouble’s LP with repost and postings of the album cover. The 15-track project, including the single ‘Bring It Back’ and the bonus track, has done major streaming numbers since the release.
The video takes on a classic view in black in white. Trouble is having conversations throughout the video as if he’s conducting an interview or a vocalized letter, starting with the intro. When the beat drops, he appears with his gang of friends in front of an old school from there it peers to a strip club scene still carrying out the black and white views, however, with spot colors of red. Fast forward, we hop into the sequence with Drake. Trouble and Drake are having a go lucky good time in the hotel room vibing out to the song where it appears Drake begins to freestyle to the beat.
The video is a must see so check out “Bring It Back” below.
“Racks Like This,” a popular single K Camp released in Summer of 2017, finally has a video to go with it. The song features MoneyBagg Yo as the two rap about an Ex of Camp’s. The video only having been up for three days already has over 43,000 views and hundreds of comments on Camp’s VEVO YouTube account.
The visual is a mini-movie in a dream sequence. The clip kicks off with a female at the laundry mat doing her laundry while listening to the song. Perhaps this could be Camp’s Ex. As she goes in to take her clothes out the washer to put in the dyer, the video curves to the daydream sequence where it shows the artists in a lavish mansion surrounded by beautiful models. This particular lady is envisioning tub baths and expensive champagne, however, Camp goes on about how with racks like this, she wouldn’t want to turn her back on this. He insinuates that the new man she’s with doesn’t have racks like this and she pretty much has to live a different lifestyle, which hints her doing laundry at a laundry mat versus the lavish mansion.
Camp showcases he has so much money, so many racks that it doesn’t even affect him to burn his money or overpour champagne. Clearly, Camp is sending a message but oooweee to the receiving party.
Check out the video below to see what all the fuss is about!
In 2018, honesty is what sells and Snow Tha Product is here to deliver. In the O.T. Genasis-assisted track “Help A B*tch Out,” Snow provides upfront, in your face realness.
Openly discussing her sexuality and attraction to women, Snow spits game at the beauty who’s caught her attention. “Do you need help? Do your baby need food?/ I’m a pretty girl, need a pretty girl like you,” she raps.
Although O.T. offered to pay her rent and buy her nice things, Snow Tha Products opts for the attention of someone else.
The beat was produced by Atlanta producer Yung Lan and German production duo Cubeatz.
In the Damien Sandoval-directed video, the duo find themselves throwing a whole lot of ones at the popular Los Angeles strip club Sam’s Hofbrau.
The Atlantic Records signee has been pretty busy this year. She is currently filming Season 3 of USA Network’s highly-rated TV series ‘Queen of The South,’ portraying the character of Lil’ Traviesa. She will also be the headlining performer at Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs, CA on Friday, March 30.
Music platform Audiomack taps A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie to remake three of his smash hits with a professional orchestra for their ‘Trap Symphony’ series.
Remaking hits “Say A,” “Drowning,” and newly released “No Promises,” Boogie flows over the orchestrated melodies. A Boogie takes center stage while being accompanied by a nine-piece orchestra.
The series’ mission is said to emphasize the artist’s versatility and it does. Removing their heavy beats with soothing tones to showcase the depths of their lyrics is what the series is set to highlight.
Audiomack founder and ‘Trap Symphony’ co-creator David Pointe dished on the series’ mission, “…the purpose of Trap Symphony is to showcase a vocalist’s talent and emphasize their unique skill set over an unexpected musical backdrop. With the ‘Trap Symphony’ series, artists prove that they can go toe-to-toe with classically trained musicians and create something that is sonically beautiful and unique.”
A Boogie’s performance comes shortly after releasing his new track “Right Moves” — one of the five songs the rapper has set to drop this week.
Be sure to catch A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie in Netflix’s newest documentary series ‘Rapture‘ set to premiere March 30th.
