Darkovibes – “Inna Song (Gin & Lime)” Ft. King Promise

Rising Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Darkovibes releases the new single “Inna Song (Gin & Juice)” featuring fellow Ghanaian singer-songwriter King Promise. The feel-good record is the latest offering from Darkovibes’ forthcoming debut solo album Kpanlogo, which is due out for release on Friday, April 3. The project will boast collaborations with Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Kwesi Arthur, and Joey B.

The acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer has garnered regional success with singles like “Tomorrow” and “Stay Woke” and has been an integral player in the growing success of La Même Gang, a collective of budding superstars based in Ghana who are ushering the new wave of alternative Afrobeats that includes Darkovibes, $pacely, Kiddblack, RJZ, Kwaku BS, and Nxwrth.

Darkovibes’ music defies genre and his effortless ability to coalesce many languages – including English, Pidgin, Ga, and Twi – has earned him co-signs from some of Africa’s most sought after artists, including WizKid, Mr Eazi, R2bees, and Stonebwoy.

As he preps to release his debut solo album, Kpanlogo, next month, Darkovibes is fusing his tried-and-tested sound with experimental approaches that will continue to push the envelope of Afrobeats music.

Dovey Magnum Celebrates Valentine’s Day With ‘JuJu’ Video

To celebrate Valentine’s Day 2020, rising dancehall star Dovey Magnum delivers the music video for her single, “JuJu,” a term used to promote confidence in a lady’s private parts.

“Juju” originally appeared as a focus track on VP Records Reggae Gold 2019. The single has since been streamed and downloaded by thousands and has become a staple term.

About the song, Dovey states, “Well the inspiration behind the record, you know at the end of the day, the juju is the magical part of the body, the female body. In terms of the visual, the visual is a sensual feeling, where everything is about that holding. It’s like saying, the way I hold you, you will be in heaven, I even send Angels down,” Dovey concludes.

The accompanying music video, directed by Isha Dipika Walia and filmed in NYC, features Dovey and other females dressed as angels but doing some sensual and freaky moves.

Dovey Magnum is also known for the dancehall hit, “Bawl Out.”
