Nineteen tracks across thirty-six minutes averages under two minutes a song, and the record behaves accordingly, with tracks that stop rather than resolve. The low end is built from plugg textures and distorted bass that swallows the drums instead of sitting beneath them. On craft we would not put this ahead of the Hieroglyphics or Mike Dimes records from the same weekend. On evidence of where rap's next cadence is being worked out, it beats most of what the Friday grid caught. The producer credits point to corners of streaming that no label one-sheet will name.
