Fresh off the release of his highly anticipated single "Baby (Is It A Crime)," Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema is taking his global dominance to the next level with the announcement of his HEIS World Tour. The superstar is gearing up for a 23-date run that will take him from the U.S. to Europe, Africa, and Asia, including a highly coveted debut at Coachella.
Kicking off in Edmonton, Canada, on April 11, the tour will take him through major North American cities like New York (Madison Square Garden), Toronto, and Houston before heading overseas to Europe, Africa, and Asia. And, of course, all eyes will be on his debut at Coachella on April 13 & 20, where he'll be representing Afrobeats on one of the world's biggest stages. Rema will also hit festival stages like Afro Jam Festival in Japan and Dream Park Festival in Sweden, bringing his signature blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and global rhythms to fans worldwide.
Rema has been on a meteoric rise since breaking onto the scene in 2019. From his early hits like "Dumebi" to his smash-hit "Calm Down" (Remix) with Selena Gomez, which became the most streamed Afrobeats song ever, he's been redefining the genre on a global scale.
His latest album, HEIS, cemented his place at the top, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album and landing on multiple "Best of 2024" lists. The album showcased his evolution, blending Afrobeats with futuristic sounds, high-energy bangers, and deeply personal storytelling.
The HEIS World Tour will see Rema pushing Afrobeats to arena status, something few artists from the genre have achieved. While Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido have already paved the way with sold-out stadiums, Rema is making his own lane, reaching new audiences and fresh territories.
