About This Release
Statik Selektah produced every beat on Playaz Only Live Once, the Dec. 4 album 2 Chainz shortens to P.O.L.O., and "A Week in Paris" is the third look at it after "Pops" in April and "Reign" with Cash Cobain and Young Nudy in September. On Instagram, 2 Chainz said the record holds some of his best work.
The pairing goes back at least to 2020, when Statik put 2 Chainz and Conway the Machine on "Play Around" alongside Killer Mike and Allan Kingdom. P.O.L.O. is his first solo album since 2022, and it trades the rotating cast of beatmakers behind his club records for one producer across the full length.
