In January 2025, with WHAM fresh off a No. 1 debut, Lil Baby sat for a Complex cover story and explained why the joint tape he had nearly finished with Future was probably shelved. The reason had a name, since Young Thug had just come home and wanted in.
"There probably won't be a me and Future tape anymore because Thug is back," he said. "So, whatever it would be, it'll be all three of us."
Twenty-one months later, the three of them share one song. "All My Partnas," track seven on Lil Baby's new album FRESH, puts Future, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez on the same record. The album around it arrives November 6 through Quality Control Music and Motown Records.
The full rollout landed Tuesday (Oct 20) with an official digital tracklist and an Apple Music preorder listing 17 songs. Signed vinyl and CD editions went up the same day, sold alongside two merch fan packs. Four days earlier, on Friday (Oct 16), Lil Baby had posted the title, the sequence and the features to Instagram, written out by hand on a whiteboard.
That whiteboard said more than any press line. Across 17 songs, only two carry a guest, and Rylo Rodriguez, signed to Lil Baby's own Glass Window Entertainment, appears on both. He returns alone on "In Your Head" at track 13.
The guest sheet on WHAM ran through Travis Scott, 21 Savage, GloRilla, Rod Wave, Future and Young Thug. Its deluxe edition then added a second Future collaboration in "99," shot in Harlem a week after the album dropped.

The rest of FRESH is Lil Baby by himself, on titles that include "Top Uh It," "Be The One," "Your Fault," "All Us," "Televised" and "Rareform." One phrase repeats on purpose, with "Do It (Keep Goin)" at track six and a closing song called simply "Keep Goin."
The last time all three Atlanta rappers shared a song, the result was "Dum, Dumb, and Dumber" on WHAM. They cut it within days of Young Thug's release from jail on Halloween 2024. The label reported in January 2025 that it was the No. 1 song on Apple Music in the United States across every genre.
Lil Baby told Complex the session doubled as a homecoming. "It might've been our second or third day in the studio since [Thug] had been home," he said, according to Revolt's account of the interview. "Everybody was in the studio."
He was careful about how much of that early chemistry to spend. "We got tons of songs. Just that one on WHAM, though. I could have done more," he told Complex, adding that he had wanted to avoid overexposing a verse he considered rare at the time. "I'm the first person to have a Young Thug verse since he's been out," he said.
Future and Young Thug carry their own long file together, including the 2017 collaborative album Super Slimey. Young Thug also pulled Lil Baby onto Slime Language 3, the 41-track YSL compilation that introduced his rebuilt roster this year. For now, the trio Lil Baby described in 2025 shares a single credit line on his album rather than a tape of its own.
Rylo Rodriguez's second slot reads like label business as much as friendship. His Glass Window album S.K.A.T.E. opened in the top three of Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart. Its focus track, "Neighborhood Starz" with Lil Baby and Kevin Gates, reached both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
He has been a fixture on Lil Baby's albums for years, from "Forget That" on My Turn in 2020 to "By Myself" with Rod Wave on WHAM. Lil Baby also brought him out at his Lil Baby & Friends concert at State Farm Arena in December 2024.
Sitting at track 10, near the middle of the album, is "Dead Fresh," the Pharrell Williams production. Pharrell first played it in June on the runway at Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2027 menswear show in Paris, where he serves as creative director and where Lil Baby watched from the front row. The same show debuted Pharrell collaborations with Quavo on "Haavin" and YoungBoy Never Broke Again on "Simulation."
The single reached streaming services on July 17. A day earlier, Lil Baby had panned a phone across a room full of his team on TikTok and announced "album time."
The Kid Art video that followed played like a lookbook. On the golf course Lil Baby wears a Jacquemus collared shirt, Bottega Veneta shorts and Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s. On the tennis court he switches into a Victor Victor x Eric Emanuel set with Prada shoes. By the label's count, the song had piled up 256 million TikTok views across 84,000 public videos within its first weeks.
HitsCulture's New Music Friday on July 17 heard Pharrell keeping the production sleek and understated under a rags-to-riches victory lap, and the charts followed. The single debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has now logged 12 weeks on the chart. According to the label, it most recently reached No. 1 at both urban and rhythmic radio.
One recent release is missing from the sequence. Earlier this month Lil Baby joined Bally Baby and Fatt Smaxk for the "Coast 2 Coast" video, a ride through Atlanta aboard a school bus converted into a party bus. The song does not appear on the official digital tracklist the label distributed Tuesday.
FRESH is his fifth solo studio album, and the road to it bent more than once. In that January 2025 interview he was promoting a fifth album called Dominique, then pitched for February, which he described as "more of a grown sound." He framed that record as the version of himself closest to his given name, Dominique Jones, and said it would sound "like the more 30-year-old me."
That project never arrived under that name. In its place came The Leaks, released on his 31st birthday on December 3, 2025, which became his fifth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart.
WHAM had already opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 140,000 equivalent album units. That made him four for four on chart-topping debuts, following My Turn, The Voice of the Heroes with Lil Durk, and It's Only Me.
His Grammy came earlier, for best melodic rap performance in 2022, through his verse on Kanye West's "Hurricane." My Turn had already finished 2020 as the best-selling and most-streamed album of the year across all genres.
The run leading into FRESH came with its own streaming credential. When "Dead Fresh" arrived in July, the label noted that Lil Baby had just been ranked the sixth-most streamed artist in Apple Music history, in a tier that includes Drake, Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny.
The new album gets a hometown stage a month after release. Lil Baby has booked Lil Baby: Fresh Prince of Atlanta, a birthday celebration at State Farm Arena on December 5, two days after he turns 32. Tickets went on sale October 9.
FRESH is due November 6.
