About This Release

Johnny Burgos keeps the songwriting and soul foundation of his recent work intact on “Can't Wait,” while opening the door to a more movement-driven side of his sound. Coming after A Long Short Story, the single strokes like an extension of Burgos' range, pairing his romantic perspective with a groove built for listeners who like contemporary R&B with classic soul feelings.
