About This Release

Trey Lorenz has spent more than three decades as the voice other stars call in, starting with the duet that carried Mariah Carey's 'I'll Be There' to No. 1 in 1992. Expansion credits him with the backing vocals on Groove Theory's 'Tell Me,' a Top 5 Billboard R&B hit of his own in 'Someone to Hold,' and sessions with Beyoncé, Usher, TLC and Lionel Richie. 'Can't Get Enough' puts him back at the front of the mix on a mid-tempo cut built around live horns and vocal arrangements, produced by HitShack and Lorenz with DeJuan Cross adding production and the mix.

The single arrives on Expansion Records, the London soul label behind the Luxury Soul compilations, which lists Barry White, Curtis Mayfield, Motown, The Winans and Eddie and Gerald Levert as the reference points Lorenz returned to for the record. He describes the song as 'the beginning of a renewed body of work.'
