Kehlani spent the summer filling arenas, including an Aug. 21 night at Barclays Center that grossed $1,295,513, according to Pollstar box office reports. On Thursday night (Nov 19), the two-time Grammy winner will sing inside a Hollywood club whose main showroom holds 200 people, and she will do it twice.

Blue Note Los Angeles has her for two sold-out sets at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., with doors at 5 p.m. for the early show and 9 p.m. for the late one. Both sets were gone before the booking was publicly announced Friday, and no third show, waitlist or extra ticket release has been added.

The room on Sunset Boulevard opened in August 2025 with Robert Glasper, and every main-room artist since has worked the same two-show format Kehlani now inherits. It is a long way from the Barclays, O2 Arena, Chase Center and Kia Forum sellouts listed in her Blue Note biography.

She arrives with the busiest year of her career behind her. Her self-titled fifth album, KEHLANI, arrived April 24, her birthday, and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 69,000 equivalent album units. That was the biggest opening week this year for an R&B album by a woman. It followed "Folded," which won her first two Grammys in February and peaked at No. 6 on the Hot 100.

The album also carried "Back and Forth," the Missy Elliott collaboration whose nods to Monica and Aaliyah anchored our look at how R&B kept its culture of homage alive while rap traded diss records. A seated jazz club, where the front tables can hear the breath before a run, sits close to that lineage.

The Blue Note date lands in the gap between the North American leg of The Kehlani World Tour, which closed in early October, and the European run that opens Nov. 29 at the Velodrom in Berlin. When HitsCulture ranked the ten women closest to filling the live vacancy left by Rihanna and Beyoncé in August, Kehlani made the list on the strength of rooms like those.

For ticket holders, Blue Note capped sales at two per customer and seats everyone first come, first served. Tables are open to all ages, the bar is limited to guests 21 and older, and a $20 minimum per person applies, with no refunds or exchanges. The club recognizes only tickets bought through its own website or Ticketmaster.

No opener, band lineup or set list has been announced. On Nov. 19, the late show's doors open two hours after the early set begins, which leaves one changeover to reset the room before a second audience sits down.

After Hollywood, the tour moves overseas for seven arena dates across Europe and the UK, with Odeal and Waseel opening every night. The run starts Nov. 29 in Berlin and closes Dec. 10 at Co-op Live in Manchester, two nights after a stop at London's O2, one of the arenas her Blue Note biography lists among her sellouts.
