I hope that you’re ready…

Rene Bonét wrote “I hope that you’re ready…” about the stretch of a relationship just before it turns serious. In her telling, the song holds “the anticipation, chemistry, and vulnerability of being ready to take a relationship deeper.” Production comes from Weku Did That, the producer and engineer who has spent years shaping her sound across every project she has released.

The single sets up her third studio album, due in spring 2027, and the Leesburg, Virginia native plans to support both with a national promotional tour, with confirmed stops in Atlanta, Washington, DC, Charlotte and New York.
