Sleepy Brown released "You're My Lady" on August 28 as the first single from a new album campaign, putting his own name at the top of the credits again. Plenty of listeners know him from the hook on OutKast's "The Way You Move," and this single lets them hear that voice carry a full song. His work with Organized Noize and the Dungeon Family pulled soul and funk into the heart of Atlanta hip-hop, and his solo catalog has given that sensibility room to grow on its own terms. Brown announced the single in an Instagram reel.
