Why we’re listening
Sleepy Hallow’s “Loaded” keeps his melodic Brooklyn drill formula intact while pushing it into a looser, more polished space. Produced by longtime collaborator Great John, the track rides chirping vocal samples, stuttering synths and a restrained low end as Sleepy slips into a relaxed melodic pocket, reflecting on how far he has come without losing the cool detachment that defines his delivery. Released Sept. 25 through Winners Circle/RCA Records, “Loaded” continues a busy 2026 run and sounds less like a reinvention than a refinement of the sound he and Great John have spent years making their own.
