Tank called 2022's R&B Money his final album, and EXPERIENCE reverses that, a 16-track set he says shows "so many different sides of me." The advance tracks back that up: "Control" is built on a Janet Jackson influence, "Yes" was in the top 10 of Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay chart when the album was announced, and "How I Need You" brings in Kirk Franklin, Eric Dawkins and Zacardi Cortez for a turn toward the church. Grown R&B listeners get the sultry vocals they came for, with enough range in the guest list to reward the full sequence.
