Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire have called off the final three dates of their 2026 Sing a Song All Night Long tour while Richie recovers from a heart procedure.

The affected concerts were scheduled for September 26 at Chase Center in San Francisco, September 30 at United Center in Chicago and October 2 at Schottenstein Center in Columbus. Each date had already been moved once because of earlier medical stoppages.

A representative for Richie confirmed that the singer underwent a procedure for atrial fibrillation. The representative said the procedure went perfectly and that Richie is doing well, but will take time away from performing before returning to the stage.

Live Nation has advised that refunds are available through the original point of purchase. No replacement dates or new ticket sales have been announced for any of the three cities.

The Chicago and Columbus concerts were originally scheduled for June 26 and June 27. They were moved to September 30 and October 2 after Richie became ill during the June 24 tour opener in Saint Paul and was advised to rest.

San Francisco had also been rescheduled. The original August 6 Chase Center concert was postponed shortly before showtime after Earth, Wind & Fire drummer John Paris experienced a medical emergency. That performance moved to September 26 before being postponed again during Richie’s recovery.

Tickets for the 2026 tour first became available through a Citi cardmember presale on January 27. Additional presales followed, and the general public sale began January 30.

Richie’s representative said he expects to return to the stage, but did not give a specific date. His King of Hearts performances at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas remain listed by Live Nation for October 14, October 16, October 17, November 11, November 13 and November 14.
