LAYA opens "Yeeha" in a put-on Southern drawl, then lets pedal steel guitar ride over sleek contemporary production that keeps the flirtation tongue-in-cheek. Her voice holds the center of the song as she moves between a restrained delivery and stacked harmonies laced with elastic runs. None of the cowboy imagery pulls her out of the alternative R&B lane she has worked since Um, Hello, which makes the record a smart expansion of her sound rather than a genre pivot. She co-wrote it with frequent collaborators Chad Paul and Dante Carter as the follow-up to "LUber," her first single of 2026.
