Two years after the country and folk leanings of Leon, Leon Bridges handed the production chair to Josh Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of Jungle and came back with a record made for dancing. Pino Palladino plays bass, Kitto sings on "All Day, All Night," and Bridges keeps his vocal out front over grooves closer to the up-tempo songs of 2018's Good Thing than anything on Coming Home. Eight of the 12 songs rolled out in two four-song batches over the summer, so Friday's final four complete an album most of his listeners have been playing in pieces since July.
