Quavo transforms his forthcoming album from a Louis Vuitton runway in Paris to an Atlanta collaboration with T.I., with Pharrell Williams connecting the stops. Now, the full project has an arrival date: QRÖMELIFE is scheduled for October 2, 2026, as confirmed on Quavo’s official website.
Arriving through Quality Control/Motown, the album seats Pharrell in the executive producer’s chair for Quavo’s first solo studio release since 2023’s Rocket Power. The September 11 announcement was accompanied by “Backwards,” featuring T.I., which HitsCulture has already covered in our report on the new single.
During an appearance on Hot 107.9’s Holiday Season Live, Quavo said he recorded music aboard a yacht and inside Louis Vuitton’s Paris headquarters. The station reported that Pharrell produced the entire album, indicating a role that extends beyond an executive credit.
The recording locations also connect to the album’s public rollout. “HAAVIN” debuted as the opening soundtrack for Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s Show at Paris’s Cité Internationale Universitaire, placing an early track within the producer’s fashion platform. On August 14, Quavo released “Trance (Walk It Down),” supported by a video co-directed with Daps and filmed aboard a yacht in Marbella, Spain. Together, the releases point to a campaign built around music, fashion, and location-driven visuals.
Quavo has described the collaboration as an exercise in expanding his range. Working with Pharrell required becoming “a sound bender, a wave creator and a trend setter,” he said in comments published by uDiscover Music. His assessment of the producer’s influence was direct: “He levels you up.”
For a rapper whose voice became one of Migos’ most recognizable signatures, that willingness to adjust gives the partnership its appeal. An album offers more room to develop the relationship between Quavo’s melodic delivery and Pharrell’s production choices, carrying ideas beyond the few minutes available on a standalone single. The sessions and successive releases suggest both artists have committed time to finding that fit.
Rocket Power provides the immediate backdrop. Released in August 2023, Quavo’s second solo album honored his late nephew and Migos partner Takeoff, bringing grief into the center of his writing. The record included Takeoff’s voice alongside appearances from artists including Future and Young Thug.
The public imagery surrounding QRÖMELIFE has emphasized travel, fashion and nightlife. Before releasing “Backwards,” Quavo performed the song during WWE’s Sunday Night Main Event in his hometown. Its Supo Supreme-directed video places Quavo and T.I. before an Atlanta-inspired flag, bringing the campaign back to the city after its European settings.
Quavo also named Future and Lil Baby as guests during the Hot 107.9 interview. Alongside T.I., those collaborators keep familiar Atlanta voices within an album developed through Quavo’s sustained work with Pharrell. Listeners can hear the first three singles now, with the full project scheduled to follow October 2.
