Eric Benét has locked the rooms and the nights for the December run first sketched alongside his 60th birthday, and the You Do Tour now reads as nine headlining shows in 22 days. It opens Tuesday, Dec. 1 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin and closes Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Sony Hall in Manhattan, with every ticket link routed through the tour page on his official website. Several stops have been selling for weeks, including the Atlanta date, which Live Nation listed as on sale from Oct. 9.
The routing keeps him in Texas for three straight nights, moving from Austin to House of Blues Dallas on Dec. 2 and House of Blues Houston on Dec. 3. From there he heads north to Bogart's in Cincinnati on Dec. 6 and Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit on Dec. 9. Two nights later he plays the CMA Theater inside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The back half runs through the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta on Dec. 12 and the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia on Dec. 13, after which the calendar goes quiet for nine days before the New York closer.
The tour arrives on the heels of "Heaven," the slow Camper-produced single he released a day after turning 60, and the announcement of We Need Everybody, his tenth studio album and his first solo set since 2016. JBR Creative Group, the independent label he runs with Alison Ball, has promised the record for this fall without naming a date or a tracklist. Fall ends on Dec. 21, which puts the Sony Hall show one day past the deadline the label set for itself, and the question of whether the audience in Austin will already own the album remains open.
"There's nothing like hearing y'all sing back to me!" he wrote on his socials when he posted the full schedule, as SoulBounce noted in its report on the dates. He has spent most of 2026 on other people's bills, serving as a special guest on October London's spring tour alongside Lalah Hathaway and Leela James, rejoining that package for early September dates in Columbia, Mableton and Pittsburgh, and filling the gaps with spot shows from Orinda, California to Indianapolis in late August.
This will be his second December in a row on the road. Last year he toured behind It's Christmas, his first holiday album, on the For The Holiday Tour, which gave the setlist an obvious spine of seasonal material. No holiday record accompanies this run, so the December shows will lean on the catalog instead, from the 1996 debut True to Myself through The Co-Star, the 2025 duets album that sent "Something We Can Make Love To" with Tamar Braxton to No. 1 at adult R&B radio. Braxton reappears on his schedule after the tour, since ticket listings already show a Feb. 12, 2027 bill at the BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham with Benét, Braxton and Ruben Studdard.
Next November he trades theaters for a ship, sailing from Miami to Nassau on Rock The Bells' I Need Luv R&B cruise with Tank, Xscape, Ginuwine and Mýa. Between now and then, the nine December rooms are the only confirmed places to hear him, and Sony Hall is the last of them.
